You'll use your skills and expertise to help bolster, improve and optimise our testing process, automate regression testing in order to ensure robustness of our client's systems. You'll be working closely with developers, quality assurance engineers and the rest of our internal team.

Job brief

We are looking for a permanent member of the test team serving a London based software development house and potentially other varied clients. This position is full time, 8h per day Mon-Fri, starting as soon as possible.

Testing itself is mid-level and advanced software testing. Previous experience as a tester specifically in automation is important, one needs to be familiar with testing-analysing-reporting process. The role will be carried out from our office in Tornimäe 5, Tallinn, 10145 Harjumaa

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and review automated tests and automation scripts
  • Provide guidance on testing best practice within your team
  • Exploratory testing of new functionality
  • Identify and document new bugs, track existing bugs, and verify that bugs are fixed
  • Advanced level test preparation and execution of SQL/Data Warehouse specific projects


  • Experience of working with automated test tools, e.g. Selenium, Enzyme, PyTest, Jest, Karma, Chai/Mocha, Jasmine etc
  • Experience of working with web and/or cloud technologies
  • Knowledge of testing in an agile scrum environment
  • Experience of working collaboratively with pull requests and code review
    Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Experience with software testing and incident tracking tools (e.g. JIRA, Spiratest)
    Understanding of software development lifecycle and continuous delivery
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both alongside a team and also alone on specific projects
  • Good communication skills when working with client's and their developers

Beneficial Skills

  • Specific experience and competence with SQL & Data Warehouse test planning, creation, execution and reporting
  • Knowledge of load testing tools Knowledge of tests logging tools
  • Experience working in an agile environment
  • Ability to travel freely to the UK
