Tesla to expand self-driving software testing in 2022
This piece by Reuters was taken from Moneycontrol.com. In it, Elon Musk is quoted as promising a “dedicated robotaxi” to his subscribers. This is despite having missed previous targets to launch them.
Software testing & QA social network crosses 3000 members
This piece from Yahoo Finance is on Testing tech news (TTN) surpassing the 3,000 member mark.
TTN is the only social networking platform dedicated to testing & QA professionals. Entrepreneur Niranjan Limbachiya established it as a place where testers can learn and prosper in their careers. TTN’s ultimate mission is to combine knowledge, experience, and human connections – the essential dots – to empower over 1 million software testing professionals.
Testing the UK’s first autonomous bus
Stagecoach will start the testing in Scotland this week with a view to passengers then being able to board in the summer. The buses can carry up to 36 people a distance of at least 14 miles. It is anticipated that a capacity of 10,000 passengers per week will be reached. The buses contain sensors that enable them to run on pre-selected roads without the need of a safety driver.
