Cloud Complexities lead to missed bugs in testing
Infosecurity Magazine ran a piece this week on software testers missing bugs due to cloud complexities. This interesting read reveals findings from Dynatrace’s 2023 Global CISO Report. Two-thirds of the participants said that vulnerability management is more difficult because of complex cloud ecosystems. It would appear that cloud-native technology stacks are making it increasingly difficult to identify and assess new vulnerabilities quickly.
Are you experiencing such challenges? If so, opening up more time for your team members has to be a consideration. Perhaps some tasks within vulnerability management could be automated?
