Government introduces new software to support UK businesses
This piece is on a new Government scheme that aims to encourage small businesses to adopt software.
The ‘Help to Grow: Digital’ scheme will offer some businesses discounts of up to £5,000 off approved digital accounting and CRM software. They will also then receive help managing finances and building customer relationships. In addition, eligible businesses can also expect practical support with selecting the right digital technologies to aid with growth.
UK regulators set to discuss AI tool governance
This article looks at a recent UK regulations report on artificial intelligence tools. More specifically, the report details the challenges involved with governing these tools. The Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) are aiming to analyse the impact of AI. They are looking at its governance to support financial services to safely adopt tech.
The report features implementation challenges and how to address these, as well as how to mitigate risk. It then suggests that policies and controls are required to ensure accountability for an organisations use of AI.
