This article from Businesswire.com details how important IoT has become in our everyday lives. It also points out how IoT has then become a huge target for cyber-criminals, something our friends at CRIBB Cyber Security commented on back in August 2020. That means then that this innovative new software is set to help organisations who both develop devices and who deploy multiple devices.
Software error caused issues for an EasyJet flight
This story is from Softwaretestingnews.com and is on a recent report about a software code error in January 2021. The error caused load sheet problems on an EasyJet flight to Edinburgh. It seems that the flight departed with passengers and baggage that were meant for a different type of airliner altogether.
The issue was caused by congestion in the IT network that then led to the computer systems behaving in an unpredicted manner. Investigations revealed that EasyJet’s departure control software had mixed up the load sheet for an an A321neo with an A320.
